Carcen

The first album. The original sound.

Written in 1998, the self-titled CD was recorded at Adam Flint Guitar Studio in Houston in September and October 2001. Its release year has not yet been confirmed.

Unaware

The album that captured Carcen’s original sound.

Released around 2002–03, with the exact date still being confirmed. Recorded and engineered by Steve Christensen at SugarHill Recording Studios in Houston, Unaware includes “Mexico” and “Never Say Always.”

Skyfire

Completed in 2006.

Skyfire was finished but never fully launched. Its newly created cover gives this chapter of Carcen’s music a place in the archive.

From Houston • Since 1998

Built for
the stage.

Carcen began in Houston in 1998 with founding members Cody Watts and Jonas Gunawan. By the following year, the band had become a presence in the local music scene, playing Houston venues and developing an energetic live show.

The self-titled CD was recorded in 2001, followed by Unaware in the early 2000s. The 2005 press materials feature Bam Greiwe on lead vocals, Jonas Gunawan on lead vocals and lead guitar, Ross Dugal on rhythm guitar, Cody Watts on drums, and Jeff Lind on bass.

This history reflects the band’s 2005 press materials. The 2027 performance lineup will be announced separately.
